Celebrating Excellence:

The 2026 Annual Ceremonial Review for NLCC Achilles and RCSCC Ajax

May 30th, 2026, marked a major milestone for our cadets as NLCC Achilles and RCSCC Ajax came together at the Guelph Armories for their Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR). Keeping a proud tradition alive, the two Corps held a joint ceremony, opening their doors to family, friends, and special guests to showcase a year's worth of hard work, discipline, and teamwork.

The afternoon kicked off with the formal welcome of our Reviewing Officer, followed by a crisp and impressive inspection of the ranks. The cadets stood tall, representing their Corps with immense pride.

A Year in Review: The Cadets Take the Stage

Once the formal inspections were complete, the cadets took the reins to show the audience what the cadet year is truly about. Led by our narrator , different groups took turns explaining and demonstrating their favorite activities from the past year.

The interactive displays brought the audience right into the action, highlighting a diverse range of skills:

  • Precision Drill: Showcasing sharp movements and discipline.

  • Seamanship & Knots: Demonstrating the essential practical skills learned on the water.

  • Archery & Outdoors: Sharing the excitement of marksmanship and overnight training weekends.

  • Canoeing: Highlighting the adventure and teamwork built during on-the-water exercises.
